Email platforms often sort mass-distribution emails for you, removing them from your primary Inbox view without your knowledge--and every platform is different. For example:
🟡 Gmail: Some parents find some of their school-related messages automatically going to the Promotions or Social folder. Others find important mails in Spam.
🟡 Yahoo! Mail: You may find them going to Spam, or sorted into Offers, Newsletters, or Social tabs rather than their Primary tab.
🟡 MS Outlook: This separates your emails into Focused and Other, and may send SRVHS to the Other tab.
🟡 Gmail
Some parents find some of their school-related messages automatically going to the Promotions or Social folder. Others find important mails in Spam. Use these screenshots to fix both.
Remember that SRVHS mails come from various email addresses (your Class Mom uses one address; your principal, another; your PTSA yet another; the school board yet another; and your Grad Night Comms come from yet a different address). So make sure you look through ALL the mails that your platform "thoughtfully" hid from you and follow these steps for each item.
I used "GN Communications" as the example of the sender because... ummm... I'm biased 😆, but look through these lists and do this for ANY email coming from our school or district.

Baccalaureate (PTSA-sponsored event, free). Community Presbyterian Church 4:00 PM
SRV Baccalaureate is an optional, inspirational service that lasts ~ 1 hour at CPC. Because 200 families wish to attend Baccalaureate, and considering the 680 seating capacity at Community Presbyterian Church, we will have to incorporate the following to accommodate everyone:
Every graduate can bring ONLY 2 adults into the Sanctuary to sit with them.
All other guests can sit in the chapel (live feed for 120 people).
The Baccalaureate ceremony will also be live-streamed for anyone to watch at home. Link to come soon.
Doors will open at 3:30 PM for all CPC seating venues.

Graduation rehearsal 1:15pm. More details here.
Practice for all seniors will begin in the Main Gym at 1:15 PM. If you do not attend the mandatory practice, you will not be in the Graduation ceremony! Arrive by 12:55. You do NOT need your caps and gowns for practice.
Seniors, report to the Large Gym for staging by 12:55. Row/line leader assignments will be posted inside the gym on the walls behind the basketball hoops. Go to your assigned row and your line leader will assist in placing you in alphabetical order.
Bring minimal personal items to rehearsal (water, sunscreen, etc.). Do not wear caps and gowns to rehearsal.
Thursday, JUNE 6, 2024 GRADUATION
6:00-7:30pm (students to arrive at 5pm).
SRV Stadium Field at 501 Danville Blvd, Danville 94526. More details here.
Graduating Students: Report to the SRV D Hall for the commencement ceremony at 5:15 PM.
Room assignments will be posted on the quad-side wall of the D building. Do not bring water bottles, bags, backpacks, or purses. You will not be permitted to bring these items to the field. Leave clothes, sweatshirts, personal hygiene supplies, and prescription medication in your parents’ car so you can change right after the Graduation Ceremony and get to Grad Night quickly.
Students' Attire: You may decorate your caps, but the decorations must be appropriate for school. You cannot have things sticking up off the top of your caps. Stickers, rhinestones, paint, etc. is fine. If you do iron the robe, be very careful because they are polyester and may melt if the setting is too high. Bring a change of clothes if you need to; the transition between graduation and grad night is pretty quick. Do not wear high heels (wedges are ok) because the heels will get stuck in the field. Dresses or skirts that are longer than the robe look best. Shirt, tie, pants, recommended. Shoes are preferable to flip-flops.
Parents: The Graduation ceremony is on the Stadium Field at 6:00 PM. and usually lasts ~90 minutes.
The gates for bleacher and field seating will open at 4:30 PM. Only the southeast entrance will be open. The Del Amigo side will NOT be opened. No alcohol is permitted (water will be sold for $2 at the snack bar as a fundraiser for SRVHS Robotics, cash only). Items are subject to search.
There are no tickets for Graduation. Seating is "first come; first served." HOME bleachers and stadium field chairs (facing the stage) accommodate a maximum of 7-8 guests per graduate. There is plenty of extra seating in the VISITOR bleachers (partially obstructed view, facing the graduates). Please plan accordingly.
